Campus Activities and In-Person Classes Canceled - Tuesday, Oct. 27

Tuesday, Oct. 27 will be a full remote learning day. All campus activities and in-person classes will be canceled.

In the event of inclement weather, keep in touch with child care providers regarding program closures.

Many APS employees also are working remotely. If road conditions make it difficult to get to work, employees deemed essential are asked to stay in touch with their supervisor and report to work as soon as they safely can. More about remote learning and school delays/closures.

    Regular School Hours

    7:50 am - 2:00 pm

    Tardy Bell: 7:53 am

    Students should not arrive at school before 7:35 am

    Crossing Guard Schedule

    Morningside in front of school:

    7:30 a.m. - 8:05 a.m.

    1:50 p.m. - 2:20 p.m.

    2-hour Delay

    If an abbreviated day is declared, the instructional day will begin two (2) hours late at 10:00 am and end at the regular time of 2:00 pm.

    Students arrive at 9:45 am

    No Early Pickup After 1:30 PM

    Children will not be permitted to leave  between 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm. Please take this into consideration when scheduling appointments for your students or yourself. It is too disruptive to the classes and teachers. We will require documentation for all early dismissals.
