Counseling Services

Hodgin has a full-time counselor who is available to work with students, parents, and staff.

The primary objective of the guidance and counseling program is to assist all children in academic, social, and emotional development.  This is done through classroom guidance activities, group counseling, individual consultations, and other cooperative efforts with the teacher and parent. Students are helped to recognize and resolve problems, which interfere with learning or with personal relationships to become responsible citizens.

Parenting programs are offered to assist in better understanding and becoming more effective in working with your children. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the counselor at 881-9855.
